Occlusal Reduction/Barrel

Barrel-shaped Topspin burs are ideal for occlusal reduction, reducing the biting surface of teeth when placing crowns and performing occlusal adjustments. Their barrel shape distinguishes them from other burs, and the head tapers toward the tip. 

Utilizing spiral-shaped diamond particle arrangements, the spiral flute collects water from the aerosol mist and uses it to cool all areas of the preparation site immediately. This integral cooling effect makes procedures more comfortable for the patient and more economical for you. 

Cutting capacity is maximized with 150 microns of super coarse grit and by automatically evacuating filling debris from the diamond’s surface to avoid clogging.
