The Top Advantages of ProDent Pliers and Dental Instruments
Company History
We won’t go into a long introduction, but suffice it to say ProDent has been an industry leader for decades: The company first created orthodontic plier forgings in 1943.
Since then, ProDent has seamlessly expanded into all areas of dentistry. This large company is still dedicated to retaining small, family company values such as quality products and superior customer service. (Which we believe makes them a perfect partner for Diatech).
Use of Quality Raw Materials
With ProDent, only the best makes it into your instruments. These meticulously selected raw materials include surgical grade German Steels, French Steels, Japanese Steels and U.S. Steels.
Longevity
Value is meaningless unless you have a product that will stand the test of time. The meticulous craftsmanship that goes into each ProDent product is reflected in every detail from the cutting/working edge down to the finished look.
As a result, its unique multi-step passivation and instrument treatment ensures the durability and longevity of each tool.
Instruments Available to Fit Every Aspect of Your Practice
ProDent has a wide facet of instruments for a variety of uses including:
- Diagnostic
- Periodontal
- Endodontic
- Orthodontic
- Restorative
- Surgical
- Quality Diagnostic Tools
Its superior diagnostic tools are crafted from French spring steel, combining the important qualities of both flexibility and the ability to retain its shape. In addition, the stainless-steel front-surface mirrors are rhodium-coated and autoclavable with universal cone socket/simple stem fit.
Cotton pliers are made from non-magnet Surgical Stainless Steel with serrated tips that meet at a perfect point.
Crown and Collar Scissors Won’t Get Dull After Repeated Use
Made from German stainless steel, its razor-sharp cutting edge doesn’t dull, even after using it extensively.
Use of Siberian Stone ™ Technology
What makes Siberian Stone ™ technology so important? It marries the most vital elements of dental tools in one product.
This steel is:
- Distinctively harder but not brittle
- More resistant to wear
- Increased endurance to corrosion and abrasion
- Able to hold a sharper edge for longer
ProDent offers a three-year warranty on all Siberian Stone™ pliers and wire cutters.
Hardness of Orthodontic Pliers
These also use the Siberian Stone ™ technology, and they are skillfully tempered to achieve a 50 Rockwell hardness. All forgings are made from Japanese stainless steel. An intensive, multi-step passivation process ensures no rusting or discoloration.
